Conference: “Much more than a Maturity model”

I will share the maturity model created by Santander Brazil and exported to the different countries and business units of the group, which aims to create a guide of common agile good practices, focusing on collaboration, transparency and management of the tribes, maintaining Agile flexibility.

There is a survey divided into 5 spheres, based on closed questions that a team member answers with the agreement of the whole team from an objective perspective.

Basically it is possible to answer YES or NO. When the team in a self-evaluation responds NO, they need to create an action plan with description, date and whether it is the responsibility of the team or depends on an external action for the team. At any time it is possible to identify a team that has already reached this maturity and ask for help.

This maturity model is a real mindset change, as it is not an audit and cannot be treated as such.

We were able to demonstrate that a more mature team has better time to market and better quality, as well as being more customer-centric.
